to help with my stress levels, on morning when i know we're getting the bus I now take the sling so i don't have to struggle with the buggie.
It's lovely because as soon as Abi sees it she gets all excited, kicking, waving, smiling at me :cloud9:
Today was toddlers, and even though I've taken it before there were no other babies there, today my friend was there with her little one, she's 3.5 weeks younger than Abi and doesn't sleep very well and very clingy in the afternoon. At the end of group I got the sling out (Abi had been talking to a rabbit in a bouncy chair), put it on and put her in and she fell asleep almost instantly, Tasha loved it, she's going to get one now just so she can get stuff done around the House without Drew crying. She can't use a 'mainstream' clippy baby carrier as she has a bad shoulder, but she can use the ring sling. Then one of the workers (who due in december) had a look and she's going to get one, she's convinced her little boy will be colicy because she and her DH were, so she thinks it will help with that.
When they've both got them, their going to ask me to help them figure out how to use them (which, with the help of Slingtastic (sorry, can't remember your real name :cheesy:) I can)
So in one morning I have a happier baby, a less stressed me and possibly 2 new sling users, possibly more as another one said she had tried the normal sort, used it once, hated it and never tried again but may also give a ring sling ago.(or a wrap, told them about those too)
