Daffs has very kindly added a new section on to the site - Shop with Mumszone.
If you are looking to buy anything off of the internet could we ask you just to take a quick look to see if we have a banner for it here please:-
http://www.mumszone.co.uk/wrapper/Shop_With_Mumszone/
What it means is that any sale you make through that banner will generate commission for Mumszone. We did have something similar before Christmas which some of you very kindly used and we will be adding more to this section over the nexy few days/weeks.
Will add a click through on the forum menu at the top at some point as well
Many Thanks
Toni

I've been looking into joining an affiliate scheme today but it seems I have to buy the software. Not sure I want to spend money on software that then gives away more money to other sites!
Am I not understanding this or is that how it works?
Help please.

It is a fab idea, another site I use sometimes has this option and it has created quite a bit of income for the person who runs it.
All I need now is some money to go shopping!!:tcwozerek

Yes, we are hoping to raise funds as the hosting fee for this site is rather a lot and growing all the time. The sheer volume of traffic that we get now is great, but somewhat costly in terms of bandwidth, so anything we raise is great for Mumszone and for developing the site further. :)

Hi Sarah
Yes you can add your site on there if you want to be a merchant, is that what you mean or do you intend putting affiliate banners on your site the same as us?
Wow thanks to Daffs she has added loads on there now and I didnt even realise some of them had online websites!

Toni what I want is have a banner/button add on your site so that when anyone shops with me mumszone benefit. It's a way of encouraging people to shop with me :D because they know that mumszone will benefit too, I'm not fussed about making money from affiliates myself.

You can do it with doubletrader, you set yourself up as a merchant I believe, however, I am not sure how much they charge. If you can wait till tomorrow, I should hopefully have my laptop back as it is having some TLC at the moment, and I have all my links on it which I can send you so you can look at various different affiliate programmes and compare. I have no idea how much they charge you to register as a merchant though.
