Your doing the right thing by informing the buyer. If they did leave negative you could use the respond to feedback button and say you contacted them regarding the mistake the post office made. So potential buyers see that they was someone who just leaves negative for the slightist thing.
Blooming post office...they are always returning my mail...usually opened by whoever it is at the post office who thinks I am stupid enough to send cash.
So far my ebay stuff hasn't been touched. But I would do the same and tell the person who you tried sending the stuff to so they shouldn't be negetive, after all its not actually your fault.

well she got it, but now says she doesn't want the item ! I'm am well cheesed off she says it has shrunk !! It cost me £21 and she got it for less than £3. She could be right I don't know, all I know is that it fitted me and I don't wash with soap powder and I didn't tumble dry the top. Not sure now if I should relist, or do second chance offer. Really really not happy cos of the hassle with the postage and now she don't want it. I have nothing to compare it with either. Oh bleep bleep. And 1 of my tops only went for 99p feel really cheesed off with ebay at the mo

I would aswell! I had something similar. I listed an FCUK top for 1p and it went for sumet like £1 and I got neutral feedback because it was 'very worn apparently'. It wasn't 'very' worn but who expects a perfect top with a start list of 1p?

well got the top back today, and I disagree, the arm length is fine and it is as brought the item, really cheesed off cos she got it really cheaply, who knows, why she didn't want it, ots not like she paid a fortune
