The chap from On the Buses, we were only watching that this morning in bed and talking about who was still alive in it not. He was lovely.

I thought he died years ago. Apparently he was 92!

I read an interesting article about him and apparently there was public uproar when he left On the Buses and he was never able to revive his career, so he ended up working on cruise ships then worked in Australia and retired in Devon. His wife died in 2002 and he has one daughter who is still alive.
