ever get up and think 'oh god' ? place is a complete bombsite,got a major headache, ironing overspilling everywhere, dust everywhere, dishes everywhere, cat doing my head in meowing even though she's been fed, kids fighting already (Ds wants everything dd is playing with (especially barbie)) beds need changing, i blame this site completely cos i'm on here too much (got to blame something)!!

Yes frequently and DH just says well what do you expect we have three children. I am definitely finding it hard at the moment juggling typing work, admin and posting on here and the children. Think I need to get my whip out and get the children doing the tidying for me!

Mind you cant complain DH gave me a hand with tidying up on Sunday and for once the girls bedrooms are tidy although that really wont last long!

god, i couldn't work aswell!!don't know how you manage!!i've always been a bit on the lazy side and completely admire mums who work and bring up kids, DH asks sometimes 'do you fancy getting a job' ie. why not get off your:bottomrev and help out!!(well maybe he doesn't mean that but thats how i feel,) but A- I wouldn't know what to do, and B- don't know if i'd cope!!! hope u have a good day anyway xxx

My house is always a tip 6 kids and 2 adults in a tiny house doesn't = tidy , doesn't help I'm not a organised person either but I suspect even if I was it would still be overfilled with stuff plus at the moment I am working from home , there isn't enough hours in the day :smiley-fa

My house always looks as though a bombs gone off in it. My dh always says what do you expect with three young kids.

My sil has one of those houses that no matter when you visit it is always spotless, but then they both work so are never home and only have one child who has picked up his mums tidying bug.

I used to be a clean freak but now i go with the flow house is tidy enough and taking into account there's 7 of us here and 22 pets it does'nt look to bad !!!

anyway my excuse is there's more to life than cleaning like being on here :woot:

But there is more to life than having a show home it's better to have a happy live in home. ( that's my reason and i'm sticking to it:tcwozerek )

God Bless you people, you have made me feel so much better! I get so wound up at my house looking like a tip! Like you all, I can spend ages sorting things out, tidying up and then the mess fairies appear and I wonder why I bothered!

I have 2 kids and I do all the cooking & cleaning plus try to run my jewellery business and there just isn't enough hours in the day.

If my funds could stretch to a cleaner I would definitely get one, but as it stand at the moment I am now proud to join " My House is A Tip Club"! :party05:

Your homes all sound like ours - but I'm the same I get it tidy they mess it up.

My dining room was tidy - 2nd time this year and son over flowed the bath so now it looks like a bombsite again, this happened the first time it was tidy too arrrrrr why bother ???

It's the February break, all the kids are home, son not working and neither is hubby - ES is only wage earner, dog, 2 cats and various mates popping in and a call this mornning from my Dad, left a message with hubby to say they are coming to stay tomorrow ??????? So why am I on here when I should be cleaning up?

Another messy house here. Getting worse day by day as it is half term...............I find the trick is to take the boys out as much as possible cos then a) they aren't here t make a mess and b) I dont care cos I cant see it anyway

well it was all tidy last night once they had all gone to bed, but then they got up this morning and oldest ds couldnt find his hobo gloves so was looking in the clean wash pile which was ready to take upstairs and it is now not a pile but scattered on the stairs, youngest ds got up emptied full tub of duplo bricks, emptied all his puzzles and is now sat trying to rip a board book, and dd sat watching telly moaning about her fave t-shirt she wants drying, not tidying up yet, lol not even dressed yet, not off out today though waiting for my new cooker which is been delivered 2day, but somewhere amongst everything is the receipt for the cooker which I am sure they will want to check when they deliver but I cant find it!!
