I think they go wrinkly when they are no longer at there best. Could be wrong, but when I have them like this I always throw them away as they seem to be dry.

there not wrinkly just soft when i cut them up only 4 days out of date or after the use by date do u think they'll be ok?

Mine go slimy when I've had them a couple of months in the fridge, at the bottom in the veg tray which is a pain to get to lol.

even slimy mushrooms can be rinsed off adn used for soup or a strong flavoured sauce but don't use the 'fluffy' ones lol
