Anyone from Lincolnshire/Yorkshire area

I am new to this site but must say it looks really good!

I just wondered if any of you are from Lincolnshire / Yorkshire.

I live about 20 mins form Lincoln, Hull, Doncaster, Grimsby area.

little village called habrough, we have one shop, 1 pub and about 3 hotels, the village shop is only open in the mornings and sat and sunday only open couple of hours, lol.., but we have a train station and 2 buses a day, gud job we got a car, wish I could drive though:party05:

I think i am probably fairly near you. Trying (unsucessfully ) to work out were you live in relation to the places named lol. My geography is next to useless :blusingan

I live on the notts/ s. yorks / lincolnshire boundary (in notts), about half an hour from Lincoln and about the same form doncaster down the A1. i am not far from Markham moor juction of the A1 / A57 if that helps. Am I near you ?:confused:

I live in Hull, how far away from me are you. Not good at geography either.

Well my nearest town is (gasps) SCUNTHORPE / BRIGG / KIRTON LINDSEY ...but i'm classed as being in a village called Scawby. However we are in the middle of fields (no neighbours) and cut off from the village by the A15 to Lincoln.

I know where all of you are! None of you are that far. ...

i used to live in Wispington!....not for long mind..but dp and i rented a house there when we first lived together for just under a year!

I'd say you are just over 30-45 mins from me!

Usually when i join these type of forums / webs there is no-one near me whatsoever so i know how you feel!
