Ok the auction on one of our items ended last night , sent invoice and got a email back off the buyer earlier just looked and they are no longer registered with ebay

Advice ?

Yes and report the item as payment not received and you will automatically get your final value fee back :)

I take it as they are no longer a member of ebay there will be no comeback on us , ie negative feedback for not completing the transaction with her ?

You wont be able to leave negative feedback if they are no longer registered hun, sorry. They may have been kicked off for any number of reasons.

Just looking on ebay boards and it turns out that this isn't the first time something like this has happened ...... I knew there was something dodgy about that buyer !

Glad to hear you got it sorted. Does that mean they must have been unregistered just after your auction ended. Presumably they couldnt have bid otherwise?

DH once sold something to someone who became unregistered after item had sold. They were re-registered in a few days & transaction went ahead smoothly. Think they may have been suspended for a short time.

My one was def a scam lots of people have already been taken in by it we were lucky not sure if this person unreg themselves or ebay suspended the account either way I am glad to be out of it
