I've managed to get Nathan in a back carry a couple of times, and comfortably, but quite often, he wants to be off and about, so I haven't the time to chase after him etc, to get him stable and still long enough to wrap him (yup, he's a tinker when he wants to be, and just loves being busy lol)

So, what would your advice be, for keeping a 12 month old still long enough, whilst you get it sorted?? I know its mostly practise tbh, but atm, sometimes, I'll get halfway through wrapping, which I know is tedious for him as I'm still learning, but then he gets fed up and I have to stop. But with him being as clingy as he is lately, I thought, at least I can be doing my housework etc, whilst he's happy instead of him screaming all the time, and with him having such long legs, bending over and hoovering whilst in a front carry, is a bit difficult and not a pretty picture :cheesy:

Any advice?? TIA x x

Have you looked on You Tube? There are demo videos on there. I know Nicki from www.bitsforbairns.co.uk did one.

I hadn't thought of that although looking on there, there are quite a few, different ways of ensuring a nice tight back carry too so might try one of those out. If he feels secure from the start instead of me kneeling on the bed (:cheesy:) he may stay a little stiller for a little longer iykwim.
