Hi
I am in the process of doing my web site, I have done everything but the p&p side of things.

The problem I am stuck with is one of the items I do can be posted for the cost of a first class stamp. The other items depend on quantity ordered as to what the postage is as it is an item that people will order different multiples of.

How do you work out what to put as postage.

Hope this question makes sense?!? If not tell me.

i would start with how much the single p&p will be then group them in twos or three's or how ever many you think people will need to buy at once let ur buyers no that the more they order the better deal there getting hth:luck:

I put an individual price on each item. I've only had the website a week but it seems to be working for me so far. I'm trying to keep the cost of postage down so that if they buy multiple items it doesn't work out too expensive.

Thnx will try n work it out.

The order quantity for the main items will vary as I have orders on e-bay from 7 to 30.

I'm sure I will get my head round it, its the final stage of the site and I think my brain has just shut down as I am so tired with it all.

Postage is a royal pain in the backside. I have known different clients with shops to do it differently. Some include it within the price (seems most popular) then advertise free postage and packaging... Some do x amount per 1st item + y for each additional. It's difficult if you have a weight variety in the items you stock.

Good luck with it!
