View Full Version : Child's bookcase?

I'm probably going to get a nice child's bookcase for Edmund for Christmas - he definitely doesn't need any more toys. I've been looking at various different ones and like the look of the fire station bookcase at GLTC and also the Tidy Books alphabet bookcase. I'm reluctant to spend that sort of money without having seen one first to know what they are actually like, unless someone can tell me they are well made etc.

Does anyone know of any really nice children's bookcases? If any WAHM sell them even better.

My lovely best friend Geraldine owns the Tidy Books bookcase !!!!!
She used to make violins and after the birth of her first baby started making Tidy Books! I have an original prototype which is still going strong after 10 years - they are well made with fsc certified wood and in a range of colours now - they are really good for keeping the books tidy and the bookcase itself is very slim - you can order direct from her site http://www.tidy-books.co.uk

Wow! What a recommendation! They have them with 30% off at Blooming Marvellous at the moment so I may just get it from them.

Think the link should be http://www.tidy-books.com/

I want a bookcase to use as display for my Usborne books but it needs to be transportable. These do look gorgeous though so may have to think about one for the kids room.

Hi.

We did a review of the Tidy Book bookcase and they are great.

Hope that helps some.

They are so cute! No use for me as my lot have an adult sized book case and can't fit their books on that so we're looking for something bigger!

I think they would look really nice in the bedroom and the books are easily accessible which is great.

Blooming Marvellous are £1 more, but have 30% off at the moment (see their homepage). They are expecting more on Monday. Can't decide what to do.

Would love one for the girls, would be lovely with their books on in their room, just a bit out of my price range right now. Maybe santa can sort something.

I just realised why your website seemed familiar to me. I'm sure I bought Edmund's potties from you after scouring the internet for what felt like ages. Lovely site, and you answered my query instantly and the potties arrived the next day. Thanks!
