it's a long wrap, you wind it around and use the fabric to carry your baby. I think an aussie woman invented it. hug-a-bub is te trade name the aussies call babies bubs.

Ah sounds similar to the medievel slings , something I am going to have to try and use this season are they comfy ?

yep, but it's weird as the fabric is so long not an easy wrap to use. A good site to look at is babywearer.com as they have a rating guide by wears. I also have an ergo which is fab and very unisex a coorie and am saving up for a cwtshi or a mai tai not sure yet. Coorie is lovely but can hurt your back when baby gets bigger but very very easy to use/wear and very comfy for babies. www.littlepossums.co.uk is a good site too.

Not tried a stretchy wrap, bought one for a friend who used it for a few months before her back went on her and she was laid up for a week...

Azzi, what do you mean by medieval slings? :)
