We don't bid until the last minute because that way we get it cheaper! If you keep bidding against each other all you do is push the price up and up. As a seller myself I know that this is really frustrating, but as a buyer I always do it that way. Do you have any watchers?

16 on the phone
12 on the boots
5 on the plates

but none so far on the skull and xmen stuff

I'm sure as soon as we have stuff going on regularly it will be better

I always bid at the last minute, what I dont understand is I have lots of buy it now and everyone does the buy it now at the last minute.

Azzi I am a watcher for the skull, want one for halloween. We hire somewhere at halloween for all our friends and family. Got loads of decorations but not a skull.

If you win it I'll throw in some black and orange :feiertag- pumpkin tinsel as well , you can never have enough tinsel

Thanks Azzi, we are halloween nuts in this house. Everyone dresses up at halloween from the babies to grandparents. Had a field day last year as we was in America in Oct so had great fun in all the shops looking at halloween things.

You lucky thing, I bought a Disney Stitch in a pumpkin that has fibre optic lights. We are planning on going again next year, cant wait to get some more decorations. Everyone thinks we are nuts as we collect things all year round as we see them. If friends and family see anything they ring me to let me know lol.

If its something I really want, I might put a low bid in early so I get a reminder if I am outbid. But generally I wont bid till the last 10 minutes - bidding days earlier only pushes the price up if others bid against you!

Have a look at royal mail site, thats where I get all my postage costs from. I'm sure they have an overseas section.

You will probably have to drag them down the post office as they will need a customs declaration - unless you can send them letterpost!

Azzi

I often watch items that are the same as mine - keeping an eye on the competition.

My dh has 10 watchers on his software at the moment, I dont understand it as it is buy it now or they can go to his website and buy it as well.

I'm watching lots of things at the moment that I am considering as new stock for my website.

I watch items similar to what I'm going to list or watch to see the general price they go for and maybe bid when relisted or on someone elses, sometimes I forget I'm watching or can't bid cos I've not got the money .

What did the phone go for ?

£118 pounds to a scammer :hissyfit: , worked out ok though because a freind of ours offered us £115 for it and we got the money straight away
