I'm having a stand at a Childminding Association conference on Saturday.
I've done nothing to prepare for it. I'm sat here trying to print flyers but unless I do them one at a time then the wet ink smudges on the glossy paper.
DD is being her usual fusspot self and os screaming unless she is attached to my boob! She'll be staying with my parents while I do the stand but I've not even tried her witha bottle yet. I've had to email the organiers to check it is ok to have her with me of she won't take a bottle from my parents.
Why did I think this was a good idea with a 7 week old baby?! To make matters worse we have visitors overnight on Saturday. I need to cook something for the to eat. :hysterica

You sound like me, we are doing some show somewhere on Saturday and we have a stand in costco on Sunday, I have done absolutely nothing to prepare for either of them and am in a meeting with my accountant all day tomorrow.
DH hasn't mentioned either either so I'm just waiting patiently seeing has he booked these to see whethere he actually does anything about these shows because I'll be blowed if I do!

Best of luck with it Chell. Hope you aren't doing this too soon. Take it easy and enjoy it, a bit of time away from your usual routine. Good luck.

You'll be fine it will be lovely. If you end up taking the baby with you do you have a sling that she can feed while you're carrying her. Does that make sense. Go and enjoy it.

Aw Chell, i hope it goes well for you. At least the audience type are family/child friendly if you do have dd with you, using your sling is a good idea.
Did you manage to get your leaflets printed?
Take it easy and enjoy :) i hope it brings you lots of publicity and sales.

I did a 3 day festival with an 8 day old a few years ago (he's 8 now!) and although I was exhausted we coped fine.

I would say b*gg*r the expense, drop into Staples or KallKwick or equivalent and get a few hundred printed.

I'm there now, the wireless connection is very good. :cheesy: I didn't get the flyers printed as I ran out of ink!

Thanks Suzi, it is a conference so I've loads of free time between their breaks. It is busy when they are out for refreshments. Apparently DD has taken about two oz of milk and is asleep so she is doing fine with my parents so far. :happy72:
