Convertion rates

I think this is the correct word I am after?! :cheesy:

Has anyone got any figures to see how my hits to orders convert. I would like to see if the amount of orders I am getting is ok againist the amount of hits I get to the site.

Do you mean hits or visitors? For my site they are very different. I will have a look at my stats and let you know what mine are...

Do you mean how to work out your conversion rate from figures that you have?

If you do then the sum you need is:

100 divided by the total number of hits times by the number of sales = the percentage of hits that turn into sales.

So if you get 200 hits and from those you generate 50 sales, the sum is:

100 divided by 200 x 50 = 25%
