I am now officially the mum of a teenager

My DS turned 13 today, I feel so old :hissyfit: I have to be proud of him he went and got himself a paper round yesterday

ahhhh! Bless him! Yes you should be proud of this young man.They grow up so quick, its good that he wants to do something like that. Are teenage boys easier than teenage girls to deal with?

I keep threatening to sign Emily up for one - She's seven but she costs so much!! £50 at the weekend for her Brownie uniform plus another £20 on Tuesday for Brownie subs, only to get there and find out that they are thinking about charging another £16 on top to cover insurance costs.:wacko:

He has 13 papers and its £2 a day which I didn't think was too bad, I'm a little worried because part of his round is quite far out of the village down a dodgy road and then a dirt track , just worried something will happen to him cryingsmil

I know what you mean, i have a 14 yr old girls and she is inot the latest designer gear and lads!!
I feel so old, this is a much different generation, they grow up soo fast.

I've got a few more years until mine hit teenage years but I am dreading it with 3 girls, my dh says the house will be full of knicers/bras and make-up and that he is moving into the shed when they hit teenage years.
