Hi, i was just wondering if anyone out there managed to get a grant to start up their own business or know somewhere I could approach. Thought there may have been something available specifically for women but am unable to find anything? Thanks

It will depend on where you live and your age.

The best bet for under 30s is the Princes Trust. After that, you are looking at whether your local area gets help to develop businesses - ask Business Link/Business Eye or whatever your local enterprise agency is called. There is also a directory of grants which you might get from your local library.
