Just want to to say hi and hello to anyone who has not seen me around before.
I've been member a while but not been around much due to work committments, family, health etc. the summer holidays really manage to take every last drop of energy available.
Anyway, during the holidays I have finally been diagnosed with god awful hashimotos disease and if thats not bad enough looks like by gorgeous DD will develop it too.
She is currently well and healthly but has developed Vitiligo so to be on the safe side had her tested and she is positive. Now waiting for an appointmet to see endocrinologist - we could go private due to DH work contract, but GP said teaching hospital would be best and as it is chronic problem no hurry.
The thought of my DD being as ill as me is heart breaking so not been very sociable.
Feeling a little depressed and would welcome any jokes or distractions you can throw at me.....
