idea for promoting us all on facebook

Do you think this is worth a go?

I was thinking of creating a facebook gift application with a gift from each of us that people can send to others - so item one could be 'a pro-breastfeeding t-shirt from www.lactivist.co.uk' and item 2 could be 'a wrap sling from www.calinbleu.com' etc.

The way that they work is that you have to send virtual 'gifts' (they don't cost anything and no one gets anything in real life). The more gifts you send the more you unlock so there is an incentive to keep sending them to see what is unlocked next.

I have no idea what we could call it but I am happy to make the application. You would all just have to send me a picture of your thing and what it is and your website addy.

What do you think?

I think it's a great idea but I don't actually sell anything (apart from ad space I suppose) so I'm not sure if I could be involved.

you don't need to be on facebook
all I need is for you to email me moomum at lactivist dot co dot uk one picture of the 'gift' (please name it with your website address without the dots) and 2 or three words that describe it

for example, mine would be a picture of a t'shirt and I would send it as lactivistcouk.jpg with a message that said "a lactivist t'shirt"

I'll set up the application, and I can keep adding to it.

I think it's fine if you offer a service instead of a product, I just need a picture so a logo would be ok - it could be 'hosting from www.ihelmenterprises.co.uk' or something.......

we need a name that covers it all though - what is our combined USP?
