Just wondering if any of you have bought a Moben kitchen or a Dolphin bathroom and if you have, would you recommend them. When me and Dh move into our new house we're hoping after a year or two to replace the kitchen and bathroom to something more modern. Just want to hear your opinions on Moben and Dolphin, good and bad !!!

my mum had Dolphin and they were VERY expensive and nothing special IMO. You would be better off getting quotes from local tradespeople

i would NEVER EVER EVER use Dolphin...after DH and I went into one of their showrooms and was loking at a suite and the woman in there told us that we would be better off looking at the lower end of market as what we were looking at was very expensive. so i told her that in all fairness she had no idea how much money we had. she then just said she was too busy to show us anything else and shoved a brochure at us.

i told her to shove it up her arse

We have a Moben kitchen, installed about 2 years ago. It was expensive but is really nice, Moben install it as well as supply. The cupboard doors and drawers close really nicely, the worktops (granite composite) still look lovely. We did have a bit of hassle with the sink, but it was sorted within a couple of days. I think we bought when they had a sale on.

My friends husband used to be a kitchen fitter and fitted Moben kitchens, havn't seen her for years so he might still do it. They didn't have speicalist fitters then they just used anyone they could get hold of, he doesn't have a company or anything he is just a handy man and got these jobs via word of mouth. Might have changed now but I would prefer a proffessional dedicated fitter to fit my very expensive kitchen or bathroom. You might be better off asking people who's bathrooms and kitchens you like who did it for them.
