Hi . My name is Lisa, i'm 29 and live in Norfolk with my partner Kev and we have two children, Dylan who is 7 and Tiana who is 7 and a half months old. Tiana was born with 2 heart defects, one of which is very rare called Alcapa. Tiana had two major heart operations in March this year at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In total Tiana spent over 3 months in hospital and finally came home 10 weeks ago and is now doing very well.

Hello Lisa - welcome to the group - we are a lovely bunch of folk who you will find at times will be your life line. I too have a very special little girl - under Birmingham Children's Hospital. Her problems are ongoing but just to precis, she is dextro-cardic and has a hole in her heart amongst many other things.

Welcome to MumsZone. One of my sisters had a lot of heart ops as a child - she's now 42, fit and well with 2 kids of her own. I love Norfolk, it's a beautiful part of the country.

Hello and welcome. Sorry to hear about your daughters problems but so glad she is doing well now. My mum used to live in Norfolk so visited there often but she has moved further south now so no excuse to visit anymore.

We have many happy memories of boating on the Broads :D
