yes, Ive heard it's been a freezing winter there! We have had our hottest summer on record!:angry-smi temps of over 40c! and Christmas day was 43c. sitting in air con I'm not complaining though, vegies in the garden have been exploding on the vine because of the extreme heat and am spending most of the day inside [imagine 5 dc in a four bedroom house! probably not m. different to what is going on there atm I am guessing]

I have been running around like a headless chicken all day at work.

I am soooooooooo shattered, physically and mentally. DH has gone to B&Q so I have had to cope with the three lads who have been extremely 'active' if you see what I mean LOL:wacko:

Harry has gone to sleep and I am trying to get Oz and Robbie upstairs. All Oz says is ' I'm scared of the dark' He has started saying this - seems to be habit as he is fine when he gets up there. I even went to the extreme and bought him a dream catcher because he was having nightmares.

If I aren't careful I will be asleep before these two!!!!!! Arrrrrgggghhhh2006argh

I am literally falling to sleep as soon as I get in Kath. It's because my colleague and partner in crime has got herself a new job, lucky thing :woot: , so I am going to be the only one on our team covering the whole of the city. I am taking over her caseload plus new referrals. We are getting 5-6 new referrals in a day and I am training at night, plus I am at college. So that alongside being Kate, wife and Mummy I am cream crackered cryingsmil

Hence I am looking for a new job.

I think I might be heading for a well deserved break - either that or a breakdown.

Suppossed to be in work today but got a call from my boss asking if I minded taking today off so that she could have me in next wednesday as someone is on holiday next week ans we are on an overtime ban again:angry-smi

Kids have gymnastics tonight and I will probably go to the gym.

Not sure what I'm doing today. I might just walk into town anyway as I have to get Madam's birthday card and a big badge which says that she is 15 before next wednesday. It is a case of put the headphones on, turn on the mp3 player, head down and go and before you know it you have done 3 mile.

Been to asda this morning and got both kids really good fleeces for £4 each and got ds a really good coat for £10 in the sale. Just going to try and laze around this afternoon as there isn't any jobs that need doing.

Well I decided to go to town to get a few bits - madams birthday card, a few bits for the sleepover, her present from Cam - a "bling bling" type cross (silver coloured with big diamantee type stones on) which she will love as I mentioned it after I saw it when I popped into Asda the other day, some winnie the pooh socks for her from the pound shop aned I paid off a bit of the Argos card (1 down 2 payments to go befdore the interest kicks in - I got Cam a new wardrobe and storage rack for his cars and building things (with free storage boxes, me a tall bookcase and a smaller one for the front room for the excess DVDs - the one the kids like are easier for them to get to).

I was very good - I walked there and back (isn't the halo really shiny at the moment:hysterica ). Madams mates where surprised as to what was on my MP3 player - Greenday, Foo Fighters, Oasis, Nirvana, Fatboy slim, missy elliot etc

We went 4 a drive 2day(4 a change!) Went 2 Kelston, which is just past Bath, so dh could show me Kelston Manor....he stayed there with the skool yrs 33ago!!! Only shame was, we couldn't go in & have a look around

How cold is it!!!! Thank god I dont have to do the school run this week as the eldest is off with conjunctivitus (sp?). Left the kids with my OH 2day & went to town with my mum to have a browse (heaven without the buggy!), ended up buying loads for kids & nothing for me!! Gym went ok but didn't finish my session as it got busy and the machines I needed to go on where in use - but then I had walked as well.

Working today on a 9 - 1 but I bet we are not busy (but then loads of people are going ouch over their credit card bills at the moment - but not me)

Cam has swimming this afternoon.

Then it is the uniform wash session when they get back so it can dry over the weekend

had a real good laugh today with jacob, i dressed him up as a mummy with loo roll, with us all being so ill, and jessie being a bit clingy, i haven't really spent much time with him, but he's a loner child when he's ill, only problem was my camera was in my room and jessie was asleep on my bed, so i didn't want to wake her up, but will do it again later and show you all:laugh:

we are the house of the lurgie people, we are all sick, i can only hear out of 1 ear as the other one is bunged up, like when you go on a plane and it hurts lol, but super man flu has still let him go to work this week, so if he has the energy for that he can vax my carpet when he gets hom lol:yes:

Normal friday for me.Went to Asda to do the weekly shop this morning and to a friends for coffee this afternoon.In between that i have been having a frantic spring clean.My friend and her OH are staying the night tomorrow night so i had to clear out DS bedroom ( they are sleeping in there) and then clear out my room (DS will be sleeping in there with us ).I had to make room for the campbed, lol.

Busy weekend for me.Working an early tomorrow and then tomorrow evening 11 of us are going out for a drink and a chinese.***party**

I'm really happy today as our holiday confirmation has arrived today, we are going on june 12th to Woolacombe bay in devon. It's a sun deal and we weren't sure when and where we'd be going. We went to devon a few years ago and it was the best holiday we've had. i can't wait.

My day started well, went to Bovingdon market as I havent been there for years (its just a market held on an old airfield every Sat), OH bought me a new bag & some hair straightners as my old ones are c***! Then went to see my parents for a couple of hours. Was then supposed to have a nail appt which I have been looking forward to since Weds (an hour & a half away from the kids, etc all to myself), got to the salon to be told that a mistake had been made so I had no appt!! So instead of being pampered I came home, Cooked dinner & cleaned the kitchen!! Hope the rest of the evening goes better?? AND I DIDNT WIN THE EUROMILLIONS!!!! Boo Hoo!!!!

Hi girls!!! I'm back after a six-day break back at my parents' and the in-laws'! Finally managed to get online, DH and nephews were hogging the Pc since this afternoon!

Went to give my car a nice polymer sealant this morning (courtesy of DH :laugh: ), it's very shiny now despite the obvious scratches and dents. Well I've decided to make my peace with them (scratches and dents) as I will be repainting my car yellow in two years' time.

I've also come down with the flu but feeling a bit better now as DH had just given me a very strong medicine. Dunno what it was, could've been flu medicine for a horse and he says I should be all mended by morning. Hope so!

Well it's already 3.30am and if I'm to be mended by morning I'll need to get some sleep. I'll catch up with the posts tomorrow (well, later today, as it's already Sunday now) it seems.

found out last night that my best mate had been rushed into hospital, turns out it was her apendix on friday, so i may go and see her today, apparently, whilst she was going into the ambulance she told her dh to ring me and let me know, he forgot and now they have had a domestic about it pmsl, honestly, she's more worried about me knowing she's ok than anything else, but i think i have their lo tonight, (she's my god daughter) so my house will have a 4, 2, & 1 year old yippeeeee:ac39: :ac39:

What a day ive had!!!!!

ds has barely eaten today cos he is going thru a I dont like that stage so everything he has taken bites from then refused.

Dione 3 hours ironing only too look at the airer n heaters n see another 2 hours for tomorow.

Was getting ds ready for bed n he went to get a drink off the table n whacked his knee on the leg(solid metal!!)n his knee looked angry red bruised n swollen-so took an hour to sort that n keep eye n see if went down-he is fine now thank god.

Now got a million things to do n not enough time to do any of them!!!!20061008

Done my work out though not all of it as one of the machines I needed to use was broken and then when I got in had a nice relaxing bath for a change (usually have showers).

Jo, Emily used to bite and pinch us luckily she only did it to me dh and luke and thank god she never did it at playschool. But poor luke she bit and pinched him a lot. We used to peel her fingers off and say "no" firmly but she thought it was a game so we tried tapping her fingers. She was a stubborn little madam and it took a good 6 months or so before she stopped completely. Good luck getting her to stop i hope you manage quicker than we did.

Dh took me to see Rumour has it at the cinema last night. It was really good funny in parts but also had some sad bits at the end. I would recommend it though.

Today is madams 15th birthday so I got her presents downstairs last night with the camera to take piccies to show my Mum as she travels back today from her hols in Cyprus.

My eldest went back to school yesterday after being off all last week, then got sent home again today! one minute shes fine, the next shes in tears, her teacher says she is not her normal happy self, she doesnt want to get involved in the class activities, I think shes just wiped out from being ill last week. I didnt want her to miss too much school as she only started in Jan & its half term next week, but I suppose I should keep her home for the rest of the week. Funnily enough didnt manage to get much else done today!!

Ive had a bit of energy this afternoon at long last and my house is clean!:smiley-fa shock horror!

I felt really bad this morning and was sleeping on and offtil about lunch time on the sofa, I felt totally wiped out, then this afternoon I felt full of energy so thought id better get everywhere clean whilst I felt like it!

Got my scan at 9am tomorrow and im dreading it cryingsmil Please keep your fingers crossed for me that everythings looking good! Im so scared, If i get through tomorrow Ive promised myself to chill out about the whole pregnancy lark lol

Did some ironing this morning, while dh was still in bed....he popped over the pub last night 2 try & sort out the darts team he wants 2 play in, but cos it was soooo smokey in there, its made him feel sick as a dog 2day! He finally got up about 10:30, & we went 4 a walk cos he needed the fresh air! I feel soo sorry 4 him, cos if it wasnt 4 this 1 guy who smokes a lot,& right by dh, he wouldnt have 1/2 this trouble!

Well the whole weekend for madam has definaetly gonr pete tong - poor thing.

No sleepover tonight and no shopping trip tomorrow as noone can make it now but it didn't affect Cam as he has gone off to his nannies anyway.

I got him a great bargain today - a robot wars top and silver grey and black jacket from the Tenovus charity shop for £1 and I have the last installment of the PS2 Lord of the Rings game put away for picking up on sunday for madam.

It was my eldest's first school assembly today, but she refused to get involved!! I think it was because she was off sick last week when they were giving everyone their parts & rehearsing so she felt left out. i felt so sorry for her, she looked so overwhelmed by all the people there!

Hello girls!

This has been such a lovely weekend. Went to the car club gathering Saturday evening with the guys, then later dropped DH for his rare nite out and he came back at 2am! :smiley-fa This morning I had a car club ladies activity and had to be out of the home by 6.30am :smiley-fa

My flu seems to have gone and cough has reduced so yay! :party05:

On a very bright note, my eldest brother who is 50 will be changing his job soon. He'll be joining an international bank as part of their senior executive team and I've kind of asked if I could be considered for an interview and he said he will try (to just arrange for an interview, nothing more than that cos if I were to be accepted for work there I want it to be entirely on my own effort and not because of connections). Yayyyy!!! Some of you may have known how much I'm suffering in my current job so please please get your fingers, legs and eyes crossed for me. It might not come soon (the interview) but it will probably come within this year! The money will be excellent as the bank pays in US dollars!

PS: Can someone tell me why Auntie Flo is called Auntie Flo? I kind of thought it was what it was when reading San's and Emma's posts.

It's me Rach and kaya again and I managed to wangle an evening at my sis house on the net. My comp really has had it, no hope ever again until i can afford a new one! Yeah right like thats gonna happen.

It was my birthday on 7 i was 25 and having a crisis, my life is so not what I wanted by this age! So in rebellion I got my belly button pierced! I've wnated it done since I was sixteen but never really got round to it.

Katie is doing great, she's 9lb 3 oz now so expressing seems to be working for us. Not been up to much really but Katie was baptized today, it went really well and she was a wee doll - slept through the whole thing (even the water being poured on her head!) The priest was delighted when I told him that her name was Mary Catherine, said it was the first Mary he'd baptized in about 10 years - you should have seen his face when I told him we were calling her Katie! He replied that Mary was going into the book and that was the important name!!!!! :hysterica Will try to get some pics sorted so you can all see how gorgeous the girls were (Big thanks to Auntie Em for madams dress BTW! She loved wearing it!)

Busy day today - seeing the nurse for a sort of health mot - blood pressure, blood test, urine test. The off to Holland Arms Garden Nursery in Anglesey with my Mum and after I pick Cam up I have to go back as it is his Parent Afternoon so I get to see his work and teacher.

Check up went ok - BMI is ideal, blood pressure ok, weight ok though I nearly had a heart attack until she said we take off so much for clothes and urine test ok. I have just got to phone up for blood test results next week.

I mentioned my elbow and the fact that I still get sudden brief stabs of pain when i bend it (though not all the time) after my fall in December and she said to see the doctor about it so will do it next day off.

Now waiting for my mum to turn up so I can go out

Its the first day of half term & I've turned into my mother!! Im clearing out the girls rooms, my mum used to always make us do it on our holidays, its not easy though, as the girls keep pulling all the toys out!!!

Saw Cam's school work then had a word with his teacher. She is generally pleased with him - said his writing has improved and that he is pretty good with the mental stuff in maths, and comprehension in english but that he is sometimes hard to focus with putting it on paper but atleast he was eager - he loves being picked to do service (type of assembly).

Some things don't change as the focus thing has been the main thing sice reception but it has got better

Well i have survived the first day of half term.We were suppose to be going t this huge new softplay place which has just opened.Unfortunately everyone else in Bristol was there too and the queue was round the block.Ended up at another softplay place.It was unlimited play and dinner for a fiver per child so we camped out there all day.

Went to work and got smacked in the face by one of the patients so i'm not a happy bunny tonight.No work until friday now,thank god.

Made the mistake of walking passed The Works and ended up going in and treating myself to the making of the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy film book for £2.99 instead of £16.99 - but I love the films and trilogy! of books.

Got nothing for valentines but never expected to anyway so not disappointed.

Just done the starts of tea - having sausage, mash and either baked beans or spaghetti (or maybe both)

Well I located my bedroom!! It was touch & go at one point, but I battled on! OH's clothes were dumped in the bottom of his wardrobe coz Im sick of tidying his clothes away, only for him to mess them all up again (I think hes allergic to the washing basket as his dirty clothes get mixed up with the clean ones!!) I actually cleaned my whole house, as well as taking care of the kids, cat, dog, cooked dinner & he still found something to moan at me about when he got in!! I cant win!!

I'm worn out tonight.DS had a swimming party in Bath to go to and although Bath is miles away i thought it wouldnt hurt to take him as he's not very confident in the water.Had a RAC route planner but still managed to get lost and had to ask for directions.Honestly, that place is a nightmare to drive around.Got there in the end and i got in the pool too.DS had a great time and it really boosted his confidence.

Quiet day today, the weather is c***! Plus we had a long day yesterday so am gonna let the girls chill today as its back to school tomoz. Was only going to pop to the shop yesterday, so thought we'd walk through the park to get there. Megan was having great fun running around, so we walked the long way through the park (we usually just walk through part of the park as a shortcut), came out in a new housing estate where all the streets & houses look the same & I got us lost!!!! Ended up having to backtrack (should have bought some breadcrumbs or something) so a 45min-hour journey took 3 hours!! Oh well could do with some excercise!

Well, we've had a fun week - fell out with dh on Valentines day (we also got together that day so we've been together 7 years now!) think the tiredness is catching up with us. I got tickets for us to go and see a local comedy program being recorded so we went to that on Wed and I was on the telly on Friday! And, of course, I finally met up with Sophie, Ruben is gorgeous and it was so nice to meet and chat with Soph (she's lovely and we really have to meet again before you head) Mum is off this week so she's been brilliant and offered to take the girls for a night so we can get some sleep - so think he's taking me away on Friday, I can't wait!!!!
Katie is doing really well, she's over 10lb now and is starting to smile already, I can't believe how big she's getting. She's getting a bit more settled a night which is brilliant and we're getting there with the wind. Christine is still in love with Katie but not so sure about not getting all of my attention (so ignores me a lot and throws tantrums, but she's a 2 yo so really couldn't expect anything else!)

busy day today for us shopping later soo im off to take dd to chico's not the pop idol one :hysterica its a play centre thing for kids gives me a break meeting up with a friend for a cuppa there

have to go back to doctors again looks like the water infection is back the clear sample i gave after last lot of antibiotics looks like it was false im so fed up with it :ac39:

Dd is at abirthday party tonight and ds has his drama group so when they get home from school we'll be rushing about. Dh has gone to fetch them.

Yesterday Cam had art and craft where he made a mothers day card and I went to the gym.

Then in the evening Cam had his mate over for a bit while I had a chat with her mum - they've been friends since toddlers.

Today Cam is back at art and craft where they are making sharks and I'll go to the gym while he is doing it.

It is so cold!! Have done most of my housework, except the washing up!! Eldest DD is at school, youngest is in bed so am on here with a pack of munchies, so much for the diet eh!! OH is off for the next two days so hopefully will get to go out & do some stuff!.

I know what you mean BM.DD has had a cough and cold for about a month now.She's already had one lot of antibiotics in that time for tonsilitus and he did listen to her chest but said it was clear.Her cough doesnt bother her in the day time but at night it wakes the whole house up!

It tried snowing here today too.I went to the gym this morning and then a friend popped round for coffee this afternoon.Just got in from work now and trying to chillout.

Saying that it seemed a little better last night so I rang the docs but didnt take an emergency appt cos someone really ill might a needed that so got an appt but il see how he goes in mean time.

Been totally lazy today-should be ironing n hoovering etc but cant be bothered so im haveing some time on the pc before dp gets home.

Went to my friends for a coffee after i'd dropped the kids off at school and ended up staying until 1. It was worth it though just to have a good chat. I then had to practically run around asda before i picked the kids up.
We had snow this morning but had rain this afternoon and it's all gone.

Oh dear, sounds like sickness is doing the rounds over there - please don't cough over towards here please!!! Hope everyone is feeling much better soon.
We're heading to a hotel tomorrow so really looking forward to it - a solid nights sleep ladies, keep your minds out of the gutters!!!!!
Katie is doing well but is suffering really badly with colic tonight, she's screamed for about 2 hours so far tonight. I just want her to go to sleep and relax her tummy a bit - she's breaking our hearts cryingsmil
