pref back or side carry.
I loved my mei tai's and would prob still use them but i never figured out how to do a side carry in them. The back carry was fine but i had to put her in it at home lol.
I want something for just if we are out walking and she gets tired or wants a carry, just to pop her into easily cos guaranteed she will want to get down again 5 mins later so needs to be relatively flaff free :D

I love the freedom ring sling, but just sold mine this week to someone on here and yes right on cue, I could have been doing with it today as we were out, Zara was tired and we didn't have the buggy:cheesy:

I have a connecta - it's like a mei tie but without the complication.

Ive just bought a freedom sling on ebay second hand and then i got 2 mei tais from the US. The lady was running a promotion and i ended up getting 2 with postage for just 28 pounds. One black and white for DP and one for me thats a bit more colourfull. I think i should be pretty covered for all stages of baby hood now.

I hear the ergo is very good but its so expensive i cant justify spending that much money on it.

I know someone who is being sent a free ergo because she promised to show it to people and tell them how wonderful it is.

For a free sling id wear a tshirt every day with someones website writen all over it. Ive seen people wear them and they are absolutely amazing things. Shame these brands dont get shown to the public a bit more. People seem to think all there is on the market is baby bjorn and stuff. I carried a friends baby in one for 5 minutes once and swore never again.

Maybe you should contact some of the companies that make the slings and ask - can't hurt imo.

Have your tried a Coorie sling from Brightspark? I used her slings when Abbie was wee and loved them!

I used a coorie when the girls were little but as they got heavier I felt it dug into me a bit, I preferred the ringsling for heavier weights

They wouldn't see you or anything if you e-mailed them though.
I've heard that the ergo is no good if you aren't very tall.

the ergo is fine for me and I'm not tall. I have the new generation not the original if that makes any difference
