What do you wear in the winter?

I got thinking of what kind of coat i should be looking at getting this winter, what with wearing a slig and baby while out and about. Thought the best bet was to ask here.

So what type of coat or cover do you wear while out and about with either a ring sling or a mei tai type sling?? (Looking to get both).

I used to wear my normal coat with dd in a MT carrier over my coat. when it was really cold I'd wear DP's fleece over the top as that fitted round both me and dd! I only carried dd on my front during the winter as I didn't get the hang of back carries for ages.

I used to wear dp's fleece jackets, but they were just too big, so invested in a babywearing coat. You might be able to get one 2nd hand, some of the sling vendors do pre-orders around now/September. There's also the baby/sling covers
