View Full Version : you'll never guess what is happening tomorrow

The other day I went on the local radio website - Coast FM and nominated the shop for the secret snack "Get your workplace on the map and be naughty with some free cream cakes.
The Black Thunder crew deliver a dozen cream cakes each week day at 10.40 and they could be coming to your place of work."

and they phoned me this afternoon to say that someone will be calling round to the shop tomorrow between 10.30 and 10.50 with cakes for us. Pity the boss is not here as she is at the company range review for tomorrow and thursday (it is a get together of all the shop managers, area managerts and big bosses and they get to see what is coming in stock wise for the next season)

She turned up with 2 bags containing 2 boxes in each which had 3 cakes in - a custard alice, a chocolate eclair and a cream long donut.

She took a few details abd then phoned in to the show and did the slot and we had to cheer at the end.

The cakes where delisious - I had the custard slice, and gave the delivery driver a cake (he was one of our regular ones who does a good job and helps bring the delivery in)

I would have done a photo but the one I asked couldn't cope with the camera. We had a box between us, I took one home, one of the ones who was with me took a box home and 2 where left in the fridge (the one on at 4 was going to be offered one. Shame the boss missed it.
