My god i have been going out of my mind trying to think of a good idea for 'the wrong trousers' day on Friday for my 8 year old DS. The trousers have to be a musical theme but i cant think what to do with them. Everyone is cutting material out in note shapes or instrument shapes, but we wanna go for something with a bit more pazazz!! HELP please!!!

I love the idea above about the squeaky things.
What about some bells round the base of the trouser legs, and also the use of 'musical' fabrics like that crinkly crunchy stuff you can get, or bubble wrap etc.

great ideas, love the whoopie cushion idea and the bells idea!!
keep them coming as im off to town later to purchase my goods!! i did phone school to ask about the theme and the said its musical-rock theme... thought about putting the musical thingy in the pockets from a musical card, then sticking loads of peices of sweet rock on the trousers..but then thought nah!!! needs something better...maybe i could dress him as gary glitter or a punk???
Does anyone know if he has to wear a full fancy dress or just top half normal uniform, bottom half wrong trousers??? never done this before

When ours have done wrong trousers they always wear school uniform on the top half but they never have non school uniform only one different item of clothes. Check with the teacher they should know.
Some great ideas for wrong trousers, have fun making them.

Ooh! I'd love to do this....
I'd sew loads of buttons on them like a Pearly King!
Some piccys for you:

Obviously, this would take too long, but you could get some really large buttons and sew them on randomly.
