Things I can claim as expenses for tax

I really have to get on top of my finances this year - does anyone know of a good list of things I can claim as business expenses?

I am self employed as a designer and I run lactivist and jamsponge.

Give the inland revenue self emplyed section a cal - they can send someone round to your house to help you and explain how it works for you and your circumstances: I found this very helpful when i started.
