I've just signed up on here and thought I'd say hi, so HIII everyone!

I'm a single Mum to my lil boy who's 9 months old - i'm basically looking for a bit of advice on what other single Mothers do in an evening when their kiddies are in bed - I feel so lonely sometimes and just need cheering up a bit..

What a depressive first post but, please give me some light! :)

Hi and welcome.

Well, the world's your oyster! When I was in your position 12 years ago the internet hadn't been invented (well, not in my neck of the woods anyway lol), at least you can join us for an evening!

I just used to veg out - being a single mum's hard work and I used to be so knackered by the evening it was a bit of tv, long hot soak and off to bed!

To be honest, I don't find being a Mum that hard work at all really.. maybe I've got it all to come when he gets a little bit older?!

I keep myself busy throughout the day but once he's tucked up in bed at 7pm I'm completely lost - I can't go anywhere, I'll browse the net a million times over, flick through the tv channels and do my cleaning then it's back to the browsing the net again - there's a limit as to how much I want to look at.20061008

Gawd, I feel like such a moaner but I've never felt this before - I feel like I need company and I've never really been one to depend on others, it's quite annoying!! grrr!
