The people kept in by the judges did soooo much better on the final one - it was great and they deserved to stay in.

I've been watching this and have loved it but was really cross last week when John Barrymore went out.
The trouble is with these programmes, the people vote for the person who they like best and not for the one who is skating the best! I know that Kelly Holmes is a fantastic athlete and I have a lot of respect for her, but she's no ice dancer!! She's only still in because the british public love her!!
I love Gaynor and Bonnie.

Daffs

I can't either. She seems to be very much "I won a gold medal I'm great, so there"

Not sure what to think but I have gone off routing for her.

There was something in the paper this morning about there being a mix up with the voting on Sat. When people were ringing to vote for Sean, their votes were going to Bonnie instead!! The website were showing the incorrect phone numbers.

That l be interesting then to see how they sort it!!!!!

Ooooooooooooo scandal!

Sarah

Well the fairest way is to cancel out last weeks voting, let Sean back in and see who goes this week.

Trinity

I wish Bonnie would get voted off, on her own her skating as it proved this week is really quite bad. Yeah, she acheives all sorts when getting thrown around by her partner but she is only little, so no problem to him!

ANd I am another one who is not warming to Kelly Holmes, her & her partner have no electricity or rapport like the other partnerships.

I like Gaynor and I hope she wins but I reckon the judges will be wanting Bonnie to do it!

And don't you just love David Seaman, just one smile from him would make the hardest heart melt!

Ravenfire

I cant warm to Kelly either. Think it is so unfair for Sean, who knows, he might not have been in the bottom two if the votes had gone through fairly and he must feel cheated. I was very surprised that the judges picked Kelly though. I think David is great and I would like to see Gaynor win as well.

Don't forget it's on soon!

7.10pm and apparently Kelly's partner Todd has been injured this week so it's not sure if he can skate.

trai

I can't warm to Kelly either but i hope bonnie is voted off as she's not a great skater and is only good at being thrown around by her partner.
I would like David Seaman to win as he seems lovely and his partner seems nice too.

Sarah
18-02-2006, 09:05 PM
Bonnie is fantastic! So is Gaynor. But poor David and his partner - OUCH!!!!

Ravenfire
18-02-2006, 09:11 PM

Sarah
18-02-2006, 09:14 PM

Glad Kelly is out, she has no personality.

Its great got all the kids into it now, so cannot complain at me to turn it off as the kids are watching it.

Kelly wasn't very gracious in defeat was she? She blamed it on the fact that the judges preferred Bonnie and they have made no bones about that. No doubt she will be saying later that if David had been there, things might have been different.

She should be proud that she got that far and she is the only celeb that never thanked her partner!

I really hope that Bonnie doesn't get the chance to do Bolero, I would prefer it if David or Gaynor won it, Bonnie is good in the air and when her partner throws around but on the ice on her own I don't think she is as good as Gaynor.

trai
19-02-2006, 12:01 PM
I thought it was really good last night and it was right that Kelly went out as she's not as good as the others. They were all really good though.
I hope David's partner recovers and that they win. I couldn't beleive it when he dropped her as their routine looked really good.

Kelly's attitude stank I thought-all the others were gracious in defeat and all said thanx etc but her she is a bit of a diva sulking aint she.

Id like to see any of the ones left win now as they are the ones ive been rooting for.

Me too. He does the lifts with Christina fantastically well and technically he skates the best.

Wasn't Torvill and Dean doing Bolero amazing.

I think Bonnie had an advantage, after all she has been a dancer for about 40 years or so and that had to have helped, added to which she is tiny which meant her partner could and did throw her around all over the show. I think Gaynor had more skill at actually ice skating and Im really pleased she won.

We just had that conversation at home :hysterica I was pleased for her but thought she could have praised her partner more at the end afterall they did it together and they were so good together, always looked like they were haiving fun, but I felt sorry for the other chap because he put in as much effort
