I'm 40 today

Will you all join me for a celebratory 20061010 for my 40th birthday.

I don't know whether to rejoice, or to go out and stock up on cod liver oil tablets, anti wrinkle cream and incontinence pants! :cheesy:

The good news is I have dealt with all my urgent orders, and have none pending, so I'm taking the day off to go shopping, and whatever else takes my fancy - I can see some serious retail therapy coming on!!

Almost! I could only find stuff that fit me in Marks & Spencers:blusingan

I'm blummin exhausted now though.

Nothing really planned tonight - just a nice meal and some booze. My friend, her hubby and 5 kids are coming to stay at the weekend, and in July I'm going to stay the night at a hotel with 3 of my old Uni mates who are also 40 this year - so that will be my real celebration 20061010.

Aw sorry it was a let-down. When I turned 30 I had no kids, so we had a massive house party and I stayed up until 6.30 am, wearing an electric blue feather boa *sigh*. The next day you could tell where I'd been by following the feathers :cheesy:.

Every birthday since has been a non-event, and tbh, this one has been very low key, although I have a series of reunions and old friends coming to stay (we all turn 40 this year), so in effect, my 40th birthday will last for a few months :clapping:.
