do you know how to keep hair up and in place for a ballet exam?

I'm not Blush and probably being nosy but my daughters do ballet exams. Get yourself a big can of hairsparay, some kirby grips and bun ones, a band plus a bun net or standard hair net. Brush the hair back into a tight ponytail, clip any loose bits back and spray with hairspray. Then either twist or plait and twist the ponytail depending on how long and cover it with the net (a big net will need to be wound around a bit) and pin it in place. Then loads of hairspray again all over - you may need to pin any bits that aren't neat - make sure you have loads of pins, brush and hairspray with you for the exam for touchups. You can use gel but it's a bit sticky. I've got this to look forward to in July when 2 of mine take their exams.
