Hi there

Does anyone know any fairs in the YOrkshire area that we could go to? We sell organic & natural baby products and I'm a bit clueless. I tried to approach the farmer's market, without any success. I feel that Arts and Crafts Fairs aren't the right place for me (maybe I'm wrong?), local markets as in York don't attract many people anymore (those days are over, sadly). Baby fairs are very expensive and the competition is steep. So any suggestions will be greatly appreciated :kisshands:

Hi,
I have a database of UK events on my site and there's quite a few in Yorkshire. I'm not sure whether they're what you're after but might be worth a look.
Gail.

I wonder if that is pricey to exhibit at...

there are 2 midwives in Hull who've set up their own baby company - they have pampering days at a hotel as well as info for expectant mums, etc. They could be worth contacting - http://www.birthandbeyondconsultancy.org/index.php?page=directors

I did an event at the racecourse in Thirsk a few years back. Now the orangisers are looking into it as it has gone back over the years. Might have gone down better if it was Christmas time, think it was around the August Bank Holiday.

Ok that message didn't get deleted. :party05:

Josfab - the one in Hull is 16th May at the Quality Royal Hotel next to the station and St Stephens. I know it's a while off yet but if you do come along say hello. I'll be the one in the Issyboo tshirt.

We went for a look round that and didn't think much of an effort had been put in by the organisers, compared to some of the events I have been to as a customer it just seemed a bit of a waste of time going (imo). Hopefully if they do revive it then it will be loads better.

When were you there, I think I did it 3 times of it could just have been 2. It is run by some kind of ladies committee, not sure which one thought.
