Not sure how to explain this, so I hope someone understands!!
When you are putting things like ribbon etc on the card and you fold it over the edges what do you do to stop the inside lookin a mess?? hope that makes sense.

I cut the ends off flush with the edge of the card, you need very sharp scissors for this.

If I am covering a card with backing paper and using herma dots on a roller, they stay removable for a couple of hours and you can lift the edge of the backing paper and tuck the ends under, but if you're using double sided tape you can't do this of course so cutting them off is the answer.

i usually fold mine over the backing paper before I stick the backing paper down onto the card
