ds has got the devil in him today

grrr, im so glad he's gone to nursery today,
first thing. he was brushing his teeth, took the tootbrush downstairs to see dh, carried on brushing his teeth, then SPAT it out on the floor :angry: dh asked him to wipe it up, he didn't. so dh has gone to work in a bad mood and waiting for an apology.
MIL came around and he got a strop on. then smacked her :eek: i sent him upstairs and told him he had to say sorry. No apology but then it was time for school.
Ive told there will be no cakes after school (they have cake stall on Fri) and that nanny and daddy will be waiting for an apology.

how can i get him to say sorry?? :ac39:

Huge hugs Andrea - you sound like you have had the same sort of morning as me. My two have been fighting all morning - and I mean real fighting - trading punches and kicks and the mess - well that's another thread!!! I have taken Tilly to school and told her that when I pick her up at 3, I want the nice Tilly back and not the naughty one! Her teacher said that she would have a word with her so hopefully, she will be full of apologies when she gets home!

As for getting them to say sorry - when you find the answer to that one - bottle it and sell it to all frustrated and annoyed parents out there. Em's nearly 12 and I am still waiting for her to say sorry!!!!

massive hugs to ya Andrea, I have a little monster atm who insists he is spiderman and runs around shouting 'I am spiderman' you cant get me, thats when he's not been sportacus, anything that involves jumping of high places and attacking people, have told him power rangers isnt on anymore as after he watches it he attacks dd kicking her etc telling her he is a power ranger

he's been an angel since coming home from school
we walked past the cake stall and asked for one, i said no and he understood...no tantrums.
he's asked to phone nanny and daddy to say sorry, but neither of them are answering thier phones :rolleyes:

I would love to know the answer in getting kids to say sorry!!!
My ds is a power rangers fan too,but he does watch it as often as poss!!
If there was a mastermind in power rangers he would win hands down,I really wish he learned as much at school lol!

little monster ds only watches it about once a week, but after he has watched it you have to watch out for the low kicks to your shins, the hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aa shouts, etc, lol

he done exactly the same thing this morning, spat his teeth water on the bathroom floor whilst dh was in the bath,
he wiped it up but didn't say sorry.
dh is now paranoid cos hes working all the time if its a attention thing. Hes said hes not allowed out anywhere today or have any treats etc,

i have asked mil if she will come and take jodie to hers as its not fair for them all the have to stay in.

Awwww hugs Andrea - and to your DH as well. DS sounds like he is really pushing the boundaries and by taking away his "treats", you are probably doing the right thing - just a shame, as you say that you all have to suffer as a result. Perhaps you could tell him this, that you are very upset because you have all had to stay in because of what he has done?

thats exactly what dh said about pushing the boundaries. He is still in his pj's, ive told him there is no point getting dressed, He knows we all are punished because he is,
well Jodie isn't lol. he's doing everything in his power to get her into trouble so she doesn't go. :cheesy: jodie done this, jodie done that. she can't go to nannys can she :cheesy:
i think that will really put his nose out of joint, cos hes usually the one that goes to her house to get spoilt rotten.
just got to make the day as boring as possible now *sigh*
