We have lovely neighbours - kids running up and down stairs late into the night, outside washing/hoovering car at 9pm, banging on the walls, mother swearing loudly and often, doors slamming, kids going out and five seconds banging on the door to go back in.

See lovely neighbours

I have neighbours who drill, angle grind, saw and rev car engines, they drive me bloody mad. I had to tell him last week as he was sawing metal stuff for an old car in the garden at 8pm, and my ds2 had gone to bed and couldnt sleep. Some people are just ignorant!

Bliddy next door are banging...jawdown1234

...and drilling, Phew! Wondered what was going on then! :hysterica

Mind you, 2 nights ago we slept with all the windows open and were woken by a very loud sound effect that could have been described the same way!
And YES I do mean what you think I mean! :cheesy:

This story kind of reminds me when I used to live next door to a Liverpool Football fan, and on match day she would put the match on full volume. And I mean FULL volume, as if she was trying to imagine herself there. I had to knock very hard on her door to ask her to turn it down, she did - a little bit, still loud. A second time she actually told me to "f*** off, I am watching the game you ******", then slammed the door. I ended up going out for a couple of hours, got sunburnt as it was a hot early summer day (and I burn easy in the sun).

One of the reasons I hate football.

Anyway, I live in a flat now, with thin-ish walls, and my next-door neighbours like to do their DIY, but at least it is not too early or late ;)
