HE HAS TO LOOK AFTER DOG!
Charming, my sister says my nephew cant come to the wedding cos she has no one to look after the dog.
he gets left out of everything, not fair, i almost wish she wasnt coming now, so annoyed.

seriously? is she travelling far, or is the dog afraid to be alone?
Can't they put the dog in the kennel for one day? or get someone to doggie sit

She should pay for a dog sitter. We sent Dougal to someones house for the weekend we got married. He got taken out for walks and slept in their house with another doggie! He loved it!
This is the one by us down South but I am sure there is something like it around here

have you confronted your sister?? maybe he has a really lame excuse that your sister is trying to cover up so that her son doesnt look bad to you?? i guess the dog excuse is much more lame than anything that is real though. im sorry that it has upset you, maybe to make you feel better you should talk to your sister about this. my sister drives me crazy sometimes as we are very different personalities, but when something bothers me i tell her straight up and she always realizes what she has done is wrong and comes around and appologises and makes its better....

omg trying to answer all these.
1/ they have about 45 miles to travel, they are staying over but they werent going to. But she wont leave the dog alone for any more than a couple hours.
2/ he is 23, he gets on well with me and i am gutted he isnt going to be there i know he would come if he could.
3/ yep have asked her, said it isnt fair./ she just didnt reply.
4/ her ex is at the house loads, dont know why he cant pop in, if not im sure someone else could.
5/ my sister wont shell out for a dog kennel, bad enough she wont shell out for her own accomodation and my dad is having to pay. ok tbh, my dad p[rob would pay anyway but she doesnt even offer.
6/dog isnt afraid to be alone, my sister just treats it more like a baby

Hmm if he is 23, then surely he can say no and come to your wedding? Like you say I'm sure she could find someone to dog-sit or pay for a dog-sitter.
