What are your thoughts on this (I could guess words like terrible, sad, and catastrophy would be used here) I do feel sorry for the people, and I do wonder how much aid the west would send to help them out. Burma has asked for aid, and with polital and trade sanctions placed against them, I don't think they will get a great deal. That always annoys me. Governments in the west place sanctions against a country, and if that country had a major disaster and its people needed help, wealthy countries would say "OK, we will send aid, but you first have to do this, that and the other". It sickens me sometimes. :cursin:
