Are you voting today?
I am and I already know who for and in my case it is the person and what as far as I am concerned they have done for the community
as far as the other candidates for this ward it is a case of "Who are YOU"
Our voting has been postponed due to one of the candidates dieing expectantly, she was the one I woul have voted for too.

I'm voting for two reasons a) to send a message that I am deeply unhappy with the state the country is in and the state of the economy and as there is absolutely no other route to do this, I feel that I must use my vote on this occasions. b) because the BNP are standing and if everyone is apathetic and don't vote then I can see them getting in around here and that I believe sends the wrong message too.

You shouldn;t need your polling card but if you have it it's best to take it
If you don't then take ID
You don't need to take your card with you.

I have been to vote today. When I was younger and went with my parents to the voting station, there was always the candidates stood either inside or outside welcoming you and introducing themselves. If you hadn't been to vote, they always came around to see if you needed a lift down and to check that you were going to vote. For weeks before the election, they always came around and knocked on doors wanting to chat.
Nowadays you never see who your candidates are. We received 3 letters in the post - all from Labour which riles me terribly that they waste the money on sending out 3 individual mail shots to each adult in the household. What is wrong with a little old fashioned legwork from these people. Oh how times have changed.

to be honest where I live I thought we only had 3 councillors in total and they where the only I have seen but they will put their party differences behind them if it is for the benefit of Llandudno Junction and to get something done
