Hi

My not so new baby is now nearly three months old and we have been trying to follow AP principles. I'm finding it a bit tough being the only parent I know who is following this route and was wondering if there were any local parents who felt the same and would like to get together to swap ideas and support each other? It's especially difficult now that she is at the age where others are introducing routines/reducing breast feeding/moving baby into their own room and generally reducing "bad habits" - we're not doing any of this!

Hope to hear back from anyone else out there who is /have experienced the same...

Hi

Not sure if the relpy I sent to your message worked...I'm in Eastbourne. Would be interested in meeting up/chatting more if you would be. Following AP is is really trial and error for us and we adjust on a daily basis as Rosie needs change, but try to stick to the main principles fo being there for her day and night. Most of the things I've read really cater for starting AP with new babies - not much info on continuing as they grow and develop (and start getting heavy!!); it's dificult sometimes to know what the best thing is to do in the absence of any guidance from friends. Hope to hear back from you and thanks for replying to my post :)
