I know I shouldn't, but I really couldn't help it- lol!
I have been watching an item on ebay for most of this week, and was desperate to get it. There were no bids on it, so I emailed the seller and just asked if they would consider doing a buy it now on it at all, (well, you don't ask, you don't get).
THey emailed back asking how much I was thinking, so I replied with about £15/ £20, (the starting bid was £2.99). This didn't include the postage of £10.
I didn't hear a reply for ages, then got one back saying a couple of other people were now watching, so they would see how it did- which is absolutely fine, and fair enough.
Well, it ended yesterday, and after putting down a max bid of £15, (just in case- lol), I won the item................................. for £6!!!!!!!
Needless to say I was very pleased with myself, (though I do feel kind of bad for the seller)!
