Do you find it harder to work from home in the summer as opposed to the winter or vice versa?

We actually had some sun today and I can't wait until the nicer weather arrives, although then I don't want to be stuck inside!

Yes, it always seems such a shame to be stuck inside in the summer.

Plus as I work in the dining room, I look out onto the garden so I always think it would be nice to be out doing some gardening (although I'm not actually green fingered in the slightest and we never get on top of the gardening )

I don't like working indoors in the summer, although I hate going outside because I am petrified of wasps and bees I usually like a glass of wine outside on the decking with the neighbours!

I work better in the winter indoors. I just love it in the summer when the kids are in bed and I can go outside with a G&T and maybe a dip in the hot tub and wait for the stars to come out - ooooooooh, can't wait!

Oh yes - the nice weather beckons me to abandon work and go outside. Some days if I'm not busy I'm able to do that which is good.

Also the nicer weather always makes me feel loads better so I feel more like doing things outside of the home.

Oh you lucky thing I would love a hot tub, we ended up with a trampoline instead and my DH says once that goes we are having a greenhouse there... I think not! My neighbour has a hot tub and I go in that occasionally, it's lovely.

two of our neighbours have hot tubs, personally I'm not keen on them but dh and the kids love it!

I have to plan in some time off in the summer - it's so nice here it is impossible to work! It's been very summery this week which has fitted well with the kid's break,

Don't you find that lighter evenings help when you're working though?

I do more in the summer because I cram gardening and being outside in as well as business stuff and writing! But then if it's hot we tend to go all Mediterranean and have a time over midday when we retreat inside and I work then, as well as after the kids are in bed.

I find I get up earlier in the summer time - up at 5, 6 , 6.30 and ten to 6 respectively this week. This then means I can organise the house (2 loads of washing on the line, chickens, Ginger the cockerel, dog, guinea pig fed and watered, emails answered, printing done, stuff sorted for taking to the office, T's riding gear ready to go, breakfast and DH's sandwiches sorted all by 7.
