Seems to work for me, but I spent ages working out what I wanted the ad to say, and also setting the right budget per word and per day. Also working out what keywords I wanted to use, and which pages people should be taken to dependent upon what they had searched for. It took a lot of tinkering with to get it right, but it seems to make a difference.

Worked a treat for me last year. Made a really good income from a small advertising cost. Then all the other Barefoot sellers got wind of my secret and joined up :-(

Now it's just too competitive and therefore, too expensive (once lots of people advertise the same thing the price per click rises).

It worked well for me when I was a bit more up to date with lactivist.net - that had adsense adverts that paid for the adwords so it was self sufficient. Not I just don't have time to keep up lactivist.net which is an information site.

google adwords is one of those advertisements that really is a hit and miss, and depends greatly on your knowledge of the system and the products of what you are trying to sell. For example try using google word tracker and yahoo word tracker, to identify how many times a specific keyword has been searched for in the last month, the results can be astonishing. As this is the demand for this you need the supply, so just type the word in google and record the number in the top right corner. Now compare this with the deamnd and this shows you clearlly the competition you are up against.
