Google Base

Anyone use Google Base and if so could you please explain it to me? Wasted hours on there today and still no further forward.

I have a few things listed on there. I think its just another way of googling your products. If someone manages to find your product when they click on it takes them straight to your website.

I am sure someone else will probably be able to give you more info on it.

I found it took several attempts to upload a file of data that it would actually use, as despite following their rules to the letter it kept on giving me random error messages. They have a forum where you can ask for help and that was very helpful for me.

Coincidently, I was having a go at uploading the Wheels onto this yesterday, and although it took a while I think it worked, but of course I didn't have many to add.

Same here. I used it a few times to individually list items but it is very time consuming.

I tried to do an xml doc to bulk upload but kept getting errors too. I've not looked at it for months.
