Yeah i know how much it was and i set up a direct debit for that amout which was to include broadband (it includes home phone too) they said if it wasnt enought they would contact be by phone and increase the payment but they havent so ive been paying only a bit towards my broadband and its now put me in arrears

Why is it more than they originally said, that's what I would be concerned about? Are your call costs higher than originally anticipated or were you not paying the full amount for the package you have? To be honest as you set up the direct debit yourself Offcom would be very unlikely to have any involvement.

they hadnt been taking off the correct amount and only when i phoned up did they realise when i got a letter welcoming me to broadband( that i have been using for 6months) at one point i was told i hadnt paid broadband at all. They have not bothered to commincate with me just let the account occur arrears spoke to ofcom and registered my complaint and will be doing the same with post office

From past experience with these companies what they will argue is you will have seen how much they were taking and when you realised it wasnt enough you should have told them straight away. Hope you get this resolved
