Does this seem dodgy?

Just received this email - do you reckon its dodgy? It just doesn't feel right to me - I don't actually ship to West Africa, there is a list provided on the website of where I ship to, but feel dubious about replying and also wanted to see if anyone else got stuff like this and if it was just for spamming/credit card fraud type stuff.

Hmm ... does ring alarm bells doesn't it? Especially with the Nigerian spam emails you get.

I think there is a scam where people target small stores, and use stolen credit card details, which you find out about after goods are shiped ...

Also how did they get your details, if they do not know the URL?

Think I'd just delete it and ignore any similar requests.

Have deleted it! I just have an in-built politeness that makes me want to reply to all emails but this clearly seemed suss! I kept getting emails from a company in China that I ignored as they were basically spamming for business and in the end they sent me a really rude email because I hadn't replied - I just don't know what is wrong with some people, really not the way to get new business!!

Hopefully it will alert anyone else if this happens to them too.

Its amazing how much junk comes through isnt it :no: If you ever suspect somethings not right, then it probably isnt!
