I must say that they are much much better in real life, not very good photo's, the green one looks murky in the photo but it shines in real life.

I can vouch for that. They look stunning on the photos but the photos just don't do them justice. Kate is one seriously talented individual.:happy72:

It was fab watching Kate making the beads too she made a bead in about 10 seconds flat whereas mine took about 10 minutes each.:cheesy:

It's a craft I've never tried? My bil makes dichroic glass and I've watched him using the kilns.... not sure I'd like all the heat and flames??

Its terribly addictive, I've been working on stuff for the new site today. Made about 50 beads, the small round ones are very quick but the big focals can take up to a couple of hours to make sometimes.
You sort of get mesmerised by it, melting glass is sort of very mesmeric, (is there such a word)
