Crikey it has been quiet on here recently. Where is everyone?
Hope you are all ok and just swamped with work?
Why don't we do a quick update thread?
I'm fine, busy with new product development and the new website so haven't been around much.
That is about it really, most unusually I have very little to say!

Hiya
http://www.lactivist.co.uk - I am cutting down what I am selling so that it is easier to run, I have the last of the sale items in a very tiny box now, hooray! And there should be a delivery of newly prited t-shirts for me next week.
http://www.jamsponge.co.uk - Just waiing for a nice large box of super soft sponges to arrive so I can tell all the very pateint enquirors that they are ready for sale.
http://www.nakedwebsite.co.uk - I have bribed one of my clients with an offer of some free hours work on her site if she finds me a new client :-)
And the best news of all is that t's school are going to get him a support worker for 5 mornings a week! So instead of being on call in case he bites someone I wll have 2.5 hours every morning to run my businesses and have a life!

I've been busy working on several sets of accounts and various websites for clients, when I'm able to work anyway.
Eithne's not letting me get much work done at the moment so I'm trying to get as much done as possible whenever I get the chance.
I've also had family here - my brother and his fiance - as it was Eithne's Christening on the 16th. They are currently in London doing touristy things, but are coming back on Friday and staying until Sunday.

After a manic Jan and Feb, March has been quiet sales wise, but busy with trade enquiries and sundry hassles (couriers, Royal Mail problems, etc!).
I have 2 new products I would love to get sorted- I'm completely stuck for embellishment/s for one, but the second wheel may be possible, if I can get it so I'm happy with it.

I keep popping in and out. Daffs has been working on some new things for me so I'm looking forward to visiting the printers.
I feel a bit in limbo at the moment as it's not winter and it's not summer but I am managing to get some stock made for when the rush starts again :hysterica
Going to start making my new buggy liners today :clapping:

Sales have been very good so far this year, so I've been busy doing orders in the mornings, and admin, kids, house etc in the afternoons.
I'm also really busy at the moment uploading new character party bags onto the site - I need to put a load of new other items on as well, but finding it hard to get round to it :cheesy:

Bless! you know very well that there is no such thing as an internet collection where you are going and you will just have to get your wellys on and trudge up the muddy lane to the nearest phone box about 8 miles away. It's on the corner by the cow and the man with a bit of straw in his mouth.

Hello. We've been busy on LS, a revamp of the homepage to make more of the reviews we're doing. I think clients are liking the fact that we are often hitting top spots on Google and if not, certainly on the front page, with our reviews.
Feeling pretty darn good about it all at the moment and keep finding myself sitting here, staring at our site, feeling all smug.... :-)

Chiggs - my cousin LOVES the feed wheel! She sets the time religiously and has kept her sane in those bleary sleep-deprived days when you don't know if 4 minutes or 4 hours have just passed. Thanks!

Nothing to report here, plodding along with sales increasing all the time. To be honest I've been very lazy, just keeping up with sending out orders and keeping things in stock. I added two new products on Monday, one has been indexed already as I had a sale today direct to it from Google.

I'm here too, but been busy doing 'stuff' rather than actually selling, although selling would be nice too! ;-)
I've added some new Fairies to my site and some new crafty information pages. Also started a blog recently so that has kept me rather busy.
Now I'll have to go and check whether I am allowed to put a signature on yet.... :-)

Hi
I'm here too.....just taken a bit longer than expected to get everything sorted in the unit. Although I have someone starting to work a couple of mornings a week for me to take a bit of the pressure off. I just don;t seem to have enough hours in the day,
Along with that I have also taken on a lot of new lines including loads of new dolls which I am eagerly awaiting ....plus some fab puzzibits! A lot of it is for the Dollymania site which needed a little rounding.
Although I am off on holiday for a couple of weeks over Easter and have to put a note on the store. When my lady is trained she will run it when I am away
Anyway sorry I haven't been around.....must post some piccies on here of the unit.

I'm here but taking it easy - just enjoying being a mum to two!!
Having said that, I did some SEO stuff a couple of weeks back and think that it must be making a difference as I've had several sales come through from Google.

I'm here, busy trying to get my some SEO done and getting my designer to get my analytics working again after he cahanged the code. So thought I had no visitors for days until I realised what had happend. Sales very quiet this month but after visiting the Spring Fair last month I had some new products to upload, then manage to wipe out my links page, so if you were there I will get you back up in the next few days.
Went into my DD's school for a Easter assembly this morning then off to a networing lunch.

We've accepted an offer on our house (finally!) so I'm slightly distracted by the prospect of being homeless in 6 weeks! Business is slooow this month though, largely cos I have done no work. :(

I'm writing madly - all going really well, got the go ahead on a new book proposal which I'm co-authoring with someone fab, and several new ideas in the pipeline
ACPR is going fine - but it is a struggle to fit everything in, so I'm trying to stand back and look at the balance of what I do - not easy when I'm so busy doing it LOL!

I've been busy with my new website. Sales have really picked up since I ditched the old Mr Site website and went with ekm (thanks also to lajlaj for all her help with the site !)
Been busy packaging up orders (although it has been quiet this weekend), keeping the site up to date and looking into new ranges of stock.
Fingers crossed sales will continue to increase :)

Sales seem a bit quiet here this month (i've nearly spent that Xmas profit now :( ) but i've been making good use of the time by weeding out things i don't want to sell again and getting them sold through sales on both sites and on ebay.
I've got the unit, and its new added on to the side bit, nearly sorted now and it feels like a workplace. I've planned Xmas (nearly, argh!) and almost got all my new stuff on to the site.
I've been SEOing bm and have booked some time with a girl at work that will give me some free help. Her boss loans her out to people who work there which is great.
I've organised about 30 contributions i want putting on to both sites and booked time with a new guy to do it. Next week the sites should feel quite different. Meg and i have slightly altered BM so it is fixed width now and i'm tweaking descriptions and stuff that need altering for the smaller space.
I've had a meeting with a marketing person at Staedtler and come up with a plan for creating my own FIMO kits.
My desk is clear, my tax ready to complete and i think we are going to miss a yearly turnover of £200k by about £800 (argh!!!)
My kids are booked to go away for the weekend so we can do a complete stocktake. Then Max and i are going to the pub for a board meeting (as in, going to the pub for a meeting to stop us from being bored... boom boom!)
We'll probably go limited over the next month or 2.
I've sorted plastic boxes for my kits and specials.
I've got most of my stock on Amazon and sent a fulfilment trial off which has been quite successful.
We've organised and started using properly, the helpdesk on e-ticket and it is great.
Actually, i've been quite productive really! Just need to make a bit more money now; my main line has been Hama for so long but the competition, both in terms of other sellers and in terms of other like products, has grown hugely. I think i need to look seriously at where my focus is going to be in the future.

That's fantastic. I bet your pleased. I bought my first Fimo from you a couple of years ago. You got my order out quickly [before you were going to Brownies],so my husband could bring it back to Spain for me. I was making Fimo character name plaques back then. I've moved on a bit now and am now making jewellery. You emailed me some pics of the characters you had made. I'm still completely addicted to Fimo. Good to see you are doing so well.
