St Patricks Day was moved to the 15th this year so it didn't fall in holy week. Easter being so early this year.

yes, you are indeedy right, apparently St Patricks Day hasnt actually been changed for around 70 years but due to Easter it was officially changed for this year!

We had a lovely day, we went into Belfast to see the parade (very good this year, I was very impressed!) K loved it - she clapped and cheered the whole time and wasn't bothered by the noise at all, there was no actual Irish music or anything because that would be considered too sectarian so we had reggae and calypso music, cheerleaders and lots of rainbows (tbh, all the rainbows reminded me of Gay Pride but I love that so didn't mind!) Madam sat on dh's shoulders so she could see and she loved it as well.
