when an item you've bought doesn't turn up?

I bought a pushchair last Thurs and the seller told me she posted it on Monday. It still hasn't arrived and today she told me she sent it 1st class Parcel Force. But surely it would be here by now???

What happens if it never arrives and she doesn't have proof of postage? I don't know if she has or hasn't, just thinking ahead I guess.

When should I get stroppy with her lol? I paid by paypal. I'm just stressing a bit - its the most I've ever spent on Ebay and dh is breathing down my neck coz he doesn't trust Ebay so is being a bit 'I told you so...'

You can report an item not received after so long (not sure how long). As long as you paid via paypal they will refund you the money and claim it back off the seller so you're on the right side.

Try to fill in the 'Item not received' bit and it will direct you from there.

yes i was going to say the same, you can log it as item not received then report it to paypal and they will act for you and claim your money back, i did this once with an item for £50 and i got the money back and then the seller was banned from ebay.

Parcelforce can take upto 14 days to arrive, at least that's what my local PO tell me. Not much help to you I'm afraid at the moment but for such a large parcel I would leave it at least a week after posting before doing anything. You've got 45 days (that's what it was when I last had to claim) to put a claim in with Paypal so try not to panic just yet, as far as Parcelforce go there is no first class/second class it all goes the same. ALL parcelforce parcels get a proof of postage btw, it's a different one to the ones that they use for normal 1st/2nd class post though. HTH.
