My DH just called me into the living room to listen to a report.
In Watton ( norfolk??) a woman was breastfeeding on a bench in the High Street. a few minutes later as she was walking away, a policeman stopped her and informed her that they had had a complaint, and said that while she had not committed a crime, would she refrain from breastfeeding in public in future and go to a restaurant or similar!!!:angry-smi
Surely the police could have just told the person who complained that no creime had been comitted and let it go at that?
If I rang to compain that some one had parked outside my house, or any of the other small annoyances that I come accross in my daily life, they would just tell me that as there was no crime, there was nothing they could do and leave it at that.
